Frequently Asked Questions

How do I set or change my alarm times?
Go to Profile → Alarm Settings. You can set your morning check-in, midday reminder, and night proof alarm to any time that fits your schedule. Make sure notifications are enabled for WontLetYou in your device settings so alarms come through reliably.
What is a Buddy Room and how do I join one?
A Buddy Room is a group of up to 12 people holding each other accountable. When you first set up your profile, you'll be placed into a public room based on availability. You can see your buddies' daily alarm hits and misses, and send encouragement at any time.
What are Private Rooms and how do I get them?
Private Rooms are an Ultra subscription feature. They let you invite specific friends into a dedicated accountability room using an invite link or code. Upgrade to Ultra from the Profile → Subscription screen.
What kind of photo do I submit for night proof?
A simple photo showing what you worked on — notes, a sketchbook, your workspace, a finished task, code on a screen, whatever is relevant to your goal. It doesn't need to be perfect. It just needs to be real. Please follow our community guidelines: no inappropriate, offensive, or unrelated content.
Can my buddies see my photo proof?
Yes. That's the accountability mechanic — your room can see that you submitted proof and react with encouragement. This is intentional and helps everyone stay motivated.
How do I cancel my Ultra subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through your device's app store.

iPhone/iPad: Open Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → WontLetYou → Cancel.
Android: Open Google Play → tap your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → WontLetYou → Cancel.

We do not manage billing directly. For refund requests, please contact wontletyousupport@gmail.com and we'll do our best to assist.
I missed a check-in. Did my streak reset?
Streaks are calculated based on completed nightly proof submissions. Missing a morning or midday check-in won't reset your streak on its own, but missing the night proof will. Your buddies will see the miss — use that as fuel to come back stronger tomorrow.
How do I report a buddy or inappropriate content?
Tap the flag icon next to any message or photo proof in your Buddy Room, or email us directly at wontletyousupport@gmail.com with details. We take community safety seriously and will review all reports promptly.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account. This will permanently remove your account, goals, streak history, and remove you from your Buddy Room. This action cannot be undone. If you need help, email wontletyousupport@gmail.com.

📸 Photo Proof

Night proof photos are stored securely and visible only to members of your Buddy Room. They are reviewed to ensure community guidelines are met.

🔔 Notifications

We only send the three daily alarms you configure, plus optional encouragement messages from buddies. We never send promotional spam.

👤 Account Data

Your name, goals, and streak data are stored to power your experience. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

💳 Payments

All billing is handled by Apple App Store or Google Play. We never see or store your payment information directly.
